In 2025 the HKU Department of Surgery celebrated 110 years of excellence in surgical education, research, innovation, and clinical care. We crafted the complete visual identity around this achievement, delivering a cohesive brand that honoured legacy while projecting forward momentum. This included key graphics, event collateral, promotional assets, souvenirs and a dedicated anniversary website. The key visual style adopts an Art Deco aesthetic with a sophisticated palette of deep red and gold accents, the sand timer motif symbolises the passage of time and enduring legacy.

Our team also took full responsibility for event management and coordination of the main highlight - the Anniversary Gala Dinner, overseeing all aspects from planning and execution to on-site logistics. Large-scale backdrops and stage setups were designed and constructed exclusively for the event and the hall featured the key visual projected and animated across multiple screens. Close collaboration with the organising committee ensured every element aligned seamlessly with the vision of recognising past achievements and inspiring the next generation of surgeons.
